So I've been thinking...

Last night I got thinking about that lack of traveling I've done. Besides Utah, Jamaica, Montreal, and St. Louis, I haven't really had a chance to visit new places. I've decided that I'm going to attempt to make a trip somewhere over Columbus Day weekend in Oct. Not sure where I'll go, but I'm going to try to go somewhere I haven't before. I thought about Toronto, I've heard it's pretty cool there.

I'm starting to look at Grad Schools as well. It's fun to think that I could go to school in Chicago or Austin. I'd have to get into a school first though : ) There are a lot of Civil Eng. programs that look interesting. I'm trying to find a program that will encompass my social and political backgrounds as well. I really like the thought of the relationships between social development and transportation. I would have to say that I would understand much of it considering the experience I have had. I remember being in Austin last year and how much I enjoyed the experience. I really sat down and thought about why I was there and what kind of impact I wanted to make. There's a guy that works with me in the office here that I sat down with and was talking about what I wanted to do. I gave him a few overviews of ideas of career paths I wanted to take. He told me I should write them down, see where I go from there. Maybe for another post.
